Notedome invest in their staff
Antony Seymour
Health, Safety Environmental and Quality Officer (HSEQ)
Developing people is key to the growth of Notedome a developer and manufacturer of polyurethane prepolymers and polyurethane elastomer systems for industrial applications. In November 2022 Antony Seymour moved from Notedome’ s technical department to join the safety management team as HSEQ (Health, Safety Environmental and Quality) Technician. This move enabled Antony to build on policy knowledge from his Quality role and utilise skills from former employment that provided online safety training.
Antony’s HSEQ work involves the development and implementation of safer compliant working practices. Utilizing effective risk assessment and risk estimation procedures followed by measurement of, and reporting on their outcome through risk reduction reviews of the process hazards and activities, to ensure Notedome is a safe, healthy work environment that complies with relevant government and Notedome standards.
On commencing the Health and Safety role, Antony began work to gain the IOSH (Institute of Safety and Health) certificate and successfully achieved it in February 2023. Now, Antony is continuing developing knowledge and skills in the H&S arena where he is studying the NEBOSH (National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health) while continuing to provide the HSEQ support to Notedome and aims to have this completed by August 2023.
Chloe Heaps
Laboratory Technician
The academic challenges are just beginning for Chloe - she has achieved the Level 3 of Lab Tech qualifications at Notedome
Working in the laboratory at Notedome and at the forefront of polyurethane chemistry development and technology, Chloe Heaps has accomplished “Level 3 Laboratory Technician” qualification.
As a Notedome technician, she is involved in all aspects of new product development from testing of raw materials to supporting production in a quality control role.
New challenges arise from customer enquiries to how to use NEUTHANE polyurethane materials. The team design, develop and process the materials initially in the prototyping lab using industrial scale machinery and then as required, take the products to the customer and work with the customer at their facility to implement the technology.
